Description

A creamy, silky pumpkin panna cotta topped with spiced whipped cream. Perfect for autumn gatherings or a cozy dessert at home.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) unflavored gelatin
  • 2 tbsp cold water
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (for whipped cream)
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar (for whipped cream)
  • 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice (for whipped cream)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, sprinkle gelatin over cold water and let it bloom for 5 minutes.
  2. In a saucepan, heat heavy cream, milk, and sugar over medium heat until steaming (do not boil).
  3. Remove from heat and whisk in bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.
  4. Stir in pumpkin puree, vanilla, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves.
  5. Pour mixture into ramekins or glasses and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  6. For the whipped cream, beat heavy cream, powdered sugar, and pumpkin pie spice until soft peaks form.
  7. Top chilled panna cotta with spiced whipped cream before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh or canned pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling.
  • Chill panna cotta overnight for best texture.
  • Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon or crushed graham crackers for extra flavor.
