Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch cake pan.
- Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, spices, and salt in a bowl.
- In another bowl, mix pumpkin puree, sugars, oil, eggs, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until smooth.
- Pour batter into pan and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Cool cake completely before frosting.
- For frosting, brown butter in a pan, cool slightly, then mix with powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk.
- Spread frosting over the cake.
