Ingredients

- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix cake mix, pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, and eggs until smooth.
- Spread batter evenly in the prepared pan.
- Sprinkle brown sugar, pumpkin pie spice, chocolate chips, and pecans over the batter.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese, melted butter, vanilla, and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Drop spoonfuls of cream cheese mixture over the top and swirl lightly.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until edges are set but center is slightly jiggly.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
- Substitute walnuts for pecans if preferred.
- Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
