- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (for filling)
- 2 tsp cinnamon (for filling)
- 2 tbsp softened butter (for filling)
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2 tbsp milk (for glaze)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (for glaze)
Instructions
- Mix warm milk, yeast, and 1 tsp sugar. Let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add pumpkin puree, egg, melted butter, flour, sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and salt. Knead until smooth.
- Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread softened butter, then sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll tightly, cut into 8 pieces, and place in a greased pan.
- Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 375°F for 20–25 minutes until golden.
- Whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla for glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls.

- Use canned or homemade pumpkin puree.
- Let dough rise in a warm place for best results.
- Adjust glaze thickness by adding more milk or sugar.
