Description

A smooth and creamy hummus with the rich flavor of roasted garlic. Perfect as a dip or spread.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 3 cloves roasted garlic
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 24 tbsp water (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Wrap garlic cloves in foil and roast for 20-25 minutes until soft.
  2. Blend chickpeas, tahini, roasted garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and cumin in a food processor.
  3. Add water 1 tbsp at a time until desired consistency is reached.
  4. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  5. Transfer to a bowl and drizzle with olive oil before serving.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
  • Adjust lemon juice and salt to taste.
  • Serve with pita bread, veggies, or crackers.
