Description

A classic roasted leg of lamb seasoned with rosemary for a flavorful and tender dish.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 leg of lamb (about 56 lbs)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 lemon, juiced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Rub the leg of lamb with olive oil.
  3. Mix garlic, rosemary, salt, pepper, and lemon juice in a bowl.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly over the lamb.
  5. Place the lamb on a roasting rack in a pan.
  6. Roast for 1.5 to 2 hours or until internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
  7. Let rest for 15 minutes before slicing.

  • Use a meat thermometer for accurate doneness.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste.
