Ingredients

- 6 medium tomatoes
- 1 medium onion, quartered
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1–2 jalapeño peppers
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
Instructions
- Preheat broiler or grill to high.
- Place tomatoes, onion, garlic, and jalapeños on a baking sheet.
- Roast under the broiler or on the grill for 10-12 minutes until charred.
- Remove skins from tomatoes and peppers if desired.
- Blend all ingredients in a food processor until smooth.
- Adjust seasoning with salt and lime juice to taste.

- Use gloves when handling jalapeños.
- Adjust jalapeños for desired spiciness.
- Let salsa cool before serving for best flavor.
