Description

A hearty dish featuring creamy mashed potatoes topped with rich beef gravy.


Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 cups beef broth

Instructions

  1. Boil potatoes until tender, about 15 minutes.
  2. Drain potatoes and mash with milk, butter, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brown ground beef in a skillet, then stir in flour.
  4. Gradually add beef broth, stirring until gravy thickens.
  5. Serve mashed potatoes topped with beef gravy.

Notes

  • For smoother mashed potatoes, use a ricer.
  • Adjust gravy thickness with more or less broth.
