- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 cups wood chips (hickory or applewood)
Instructions
- Preheat smoker to 225°F.
- Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika in a bowl.
- Rub the turkey with olive oil, then coat evenly with the spice mix.
- Place turkey in the smoker and add wood chips.
- Smoke for 4-5 hours or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Remove turkey, let it rest for 20 minutes before carving.
