Description

Ingredients

  • 4 cups crumbled cornbread
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried sage
  • 1 tsp dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, sauté celery and onion in butter until soft.
  3. In a bowl, mix crumbled cornbread, sautéed vegetables, eggs, broth, salt, pepper, sage, and thyme.
  4. Pour mixture into a greased baking dish.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving.
