- 1 lb fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 package phyllo dough, thawed
- 1/2 cup melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil until soft.
- Add spinach and cook until wilted. Drain excess liquid.
- Mix in feta, dill, eggs, salt, and pepper.
- Cut phyllo sheets into strips. Brush with melted butter.
- Place a spoonful of filling at one end of each strip.
- Fold into triangles, buttering each layer.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Use frozen spinach if fresh is unavailable.
- Keep phyllo covered with a damp towel to prevent drying.
- Serve warm for best texture.
