Description

Delicious sticky pecan buns with a gooey caramel topping and crunchy pecans. Perfect for breakfast or dessert.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup milk, warmed
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Mix until dough forms.
  3. Knead dough for 5 minutes, then let it rise for 1 hour.
  4. Roll dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter, and sprinkle with brown sugar, pecans, and cinnamon.
  5. Roll dough tightly and cut into 12 slices.
  6. Place slices in a greased pan and let rise for 30 minutes.
  7. Bake at 375°F for 25 minutes.
  8. Drizzle with corn syrup and serve warm.
