A delicious strawberry cream cheese danish with a flaky pastry crust.
Ingredients

- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup strawberry jam
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out puff pastry and cut into squares.
- Mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla in a bowl.
- Spread cream cheese mixture in the center of each pastry square.
- Top with strawberry jam.
- Fold pastry corners over the filling.
- Brush with egg wash.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Use fresh strawberries if jam is unavailable.
- Let danish cool slightly before serving.
