Description
A spicy and sweet jam combining strawberries and habanero peppers for a unique flavor.
Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
- 1 habanero pepper, seeded and finely chopped
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon pectin
Instructions
- Combine strawberries, habanero, sugar, and lemon juice in a saucepan.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until sugar dissolves.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Stir in pectin and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly before transferring to jars.
Notes
- Use gloves when handling habanero peppers.
- Adjust habanero quantity based on desired spice level.
- Store in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
