Description

Delicious strawberry oat crumble bars with a buttery crust and juicy strawberry filling.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix oats, flour, brown sugar, melted butter, and salt to form the crust. Press half into the pan.
  3. In another bowl, combine strawberries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Spread over the crust.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining oat mixture over the strawberry layer.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden. Cool completely before cutting.
