Description

Stuffed mushrooms are a delicious appetizer filled with a savory mixture. They are easy to make and perfect for parties or gatherings.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 large white mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean mushrooms and remove stems.
  3. Chop mushroom stems finely.
  4. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté onion and garlic until soft.
  5. Add chopped mushroom stems and cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and mix in breadcrumbs, Parmesan, cream cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  7. Fill mushroom caps with the mixture.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

  • Use fresh mushrooms for best results.
  • You can add cooked sausage or bacon for extra flavor.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
