- 20 large white mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Clean mushrooms and remove stems.
- Chop mushroom stems finely.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté onion and garlic until soft.
- Add chopped mushroom stems and cook for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and mix in breadcrumbs, Parmesan, cream cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Fill mushroom caps with the mixture.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- Use fresh mushrooms for best results.
- You can add cooked sausage or bacon for extra flavor.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
