- 12 large white mushrooms
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup cream cheese
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp fresh thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté the mushroom stems with garlic until soft.
- Mix the sautéed stems with breadcrumbs, Parmesan, cream cheese, parsley, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each mushroom cap with the mixture.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Use fresh herbs for best flavor.
- For a crispier topping, broil for the last 2 minutes.
- Can be prepared ahead and baked just before serving.
