- 1 large round bread loaf (like sourdough or French bread)
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1/2 cup cooked bacon, chopped
- 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cut the top off the bread loaf and hollow out the center, leaving a 1-inch thick shell.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, ranch seasoning, shredded cheese, bacon, and green onions.
- Spoon the mixture into the hollowed bread bowl.
- Cover with the bread top and wrap the loaf in foil.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until cheese is melted.
- Remove foil, uncover the top, and bake for 5 more minutes.
- Serve warm with bread pieces or chips.
Notes
- Use leftover bread pieces for dipping.
- Customize with additional toppings like jalapeños or diced tomatoes.
- For a crispier crust, leave uncovered during the last 10 minutes of baking.
