Ingredients

- 500g ground beef
- 250g ground pork
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 tsp allspice
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Mix beef, pork, onion, breadcrumbs, egg, spices, salt, pepper, and milk in a bowl.
- Shape into small meatballs.
- Fry in butter until browned on all sides.
- Remove meatballs and set aside.
- Make gravy by adding flour to the pan, stirring.
- Slowly add beef broth and cream, simmer until thickened.
- Return meatballs to the pan and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Serve hot with mashed potatoes or lingonberry jam.

- Use a mix of beef and pork for best flavor.
- Keep meatballs small for even cooking.
- Let the gravy thicken properly before adding meatballs back.
