A simple and delicious teriyaki chicken bowl recipe with tender chicken, vegetables, and a flavorful sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1/2 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup sliced carrots
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 green onion, sliced

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add chicken and cook until browned, about 5 minutes per side.
  3. Remove chicken and slice into strips.
  4. In the same pan, add garlic and ginger, cook for 30 seconds.
  5. Add broccoli and carrots, cook for 3 minutes.
  6. Return chicken to the pan.
  7. Add teriyaki sauce, honey, and soy sauce.
  8. Cook for 2 minutes until sauce thickens.
  9. Serve over rice.
  10. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onion.
