Description

A twist on the classic Caesar salad with crispy croutons at the base and fresh romaine lettuce on top.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large head romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup croutons
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix croutons and half the Parmesan cheese.
  2. Press the crouton mixture into the bottom of a serving dish.
  3. Toss romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  4. Layer the dressed lettuce over the crouton base.
  5. Sprinkle remaining Parmesan on top.
  6. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor.
  • For extra crunch, toast the croutons before assembling.
