Description
A twist on the classic Caesar salad with crispy croutons at the base and fresh romaine lettuce on top.
Ingredients

- 1 large head romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1 cup croutons
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/3 cup Caesar dressing
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix croutons and half the Parmesan cheese.
- Press the crouton mixture into the bottom of a serving dish.
- Toss romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Layer the dressed lettuce over the crouton base.
- Sprinkle remaining Parmesan on top.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor.
- For extra crunch, toast the croutons before assembling.
