Description

A refreshing and alcohol-free version of the classic margarita, made with fresh watermelon, lime, and a hint of sweetness.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh watermelon, cubed
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup
  • 1/2 cup sparkling water or club soda
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime slices and watermelon wedges for garnish
  • Coarse salt or sugar for rimming the glass (optional)

Instructions

  1. Blend watermelon cubes until smooth. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve to remove pulp if desired.
  2. In a pitcher, combine watermelon juice, lime juice, and honey. Stir well.
  3. Fill glasses with ice and rim edges with salt or sugar if using.
  4. Pour the watermelon mixture into the glasses, leaving room at the top.
  5. Top with sparkling water and stir gently.
  6. Garnish with lime slices and watermelon wedges. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use seedless watermelon for easier preparation.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding more or less honey.
  • For a spicier version, add a pinch of chili powder to the rim.
