Description

A creamy and rich white cheddar fondue perfect for dipping bread, vegetables, or meats.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz sharp white cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss shredded cheese with cornstarch to coat evenly.
  2. Heat heavy cream in a fondue pot or heavy saucepan over medium-low heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and stir for 30 seconds.
  4. Gradually add cheese mixture, stirring constantly until fully melted.
  5. Stir in Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and nutmeg.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve warm with your choice of dippers.

Notes

  • Keep heat low to prevent the cheese from separating.
  • If the fondue thickens too much, stir in a little warm milk.
