Ingredients

- 2/3 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
- Food coloring (green, purple, or your choice)
- 1 tsp flavored extract (optional)
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Combine sugar, corn syrup, water, and cream of tartar in a saucepan.
- Cook over medium heat until the mixture reaches 300°F (hard crack stage).
- Remove from heat and stir in food coloring and extract.
- Pour onto the parchment paper and swirl colors with a toothpick.
- Let cool completely before breaking into pieces.
