- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 3 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups peeled, diced apples
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 2 tablespoons sugar. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- Bake crust for 10 minutes. Let cool.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla. Mix well.
- Toss diced apples with cinnamon and nutmeg. Fold into cream cheese mixture.
- Pour filling over crust. Bake for 55-60 minutes, until center is almost set.
- Cool on a wire rack, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Drizzle caramel sauce on top before serving.
Notes
- Use tart apples like Granny Smith for best flavor.
- Let cheesecake cool gradually to prevent cracking.
