- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup water
- Red food coloring
- Blue food coloring
- 1 container of white frosting
- Fresh strawberries (sliced)
- Blueberries
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- Prepare cake mix according to package instructions, using eggs, oil, and water.
- Divide batter into three equal portions.
- Color one portion red and another blue. Leave the third portion white.
- Pour red batter into one side of the pan, white in the middle, and blue on the other side.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cake cool completely before frosting.
- Decorate with sliced strawberries for stripes and blueberries for stars.

- For a more vibrant color, use gel food coloring.
