Description

Ingredients

  • 1 box of white cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water
  • Red food coloring
  • Blue food coloring
  • 1 container of white frosting
  • Fresh strawberries (sliced)
  • Blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Prepare cake mix according to package instructions, using eggs, oil, and water.
  3. Divide batter into three equal portions.
  4. Color one portion red and another blue. Leave the third portion white.
  5. Pour red batter into one side of the pan, white in the middle, and blue on the other side.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let cake cool completely before frosting.
  8. Decorate with sliced strawberries for stripes and blueberries for stars.
