Description
This apple barbecue sauce is sweet, tangy, and perfect for grilling. You make it with fresh apples and pantry staples.

- 2 cups apple cider
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and let cool.
- Use immediately or store in a jar in the refrigerator.
Notes
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
- This sauce thickens as it cools.
