Description

Healthy and delicious apple chia seed bars packed with natural sweetness and fiber. Perfect for breakfast or a quick snack.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup diced apples

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Mix oats, almond flour, chia seeds, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Add applesauce, maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir until combined.
  4. Fold in diced apples.
  5. Press the mixture evenly into the baking dish.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
  7. Let cool before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
  • For extra crunch, add chopped nuts.
  • Substitute honey for maple syrup if preferred.
