Juicy chicken breasts coated in a sweet and tangy apple cider glaze.
Ingredients

- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup apple cider
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
Instructions
- Season chicken with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
- Remove chicken and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add apple cider, vinegar, brown sugar, mustard, and garlic.
- Bring to a simmer and cook for 2 minutes.
- Stir in cornstarch mixture and cook until thickened.
- Return chicken to skillet and coat with glaze.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- You can use chicken thighs instead of breasts.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
- Serve with rice or roasted vegetables.
