- 1 (8 ounce) wheel brie cheese
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1/4 cup fruit preserves (such as fig or raspberry)
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
- Place the brie in the center of the pastry.
- Spoon the fruit preserves on top of the brie.
- Fold the pastry over the brie, sealing the edges.
- Brush the pastry with the egg and water mixture.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Serve with crackers or sliced apples.
- You can use any fruit preserves you like.
- Thaw the puff pastry in the refrigerator for best results.
