Description

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix blueberries, sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Pour into a baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. Stir in milk until just combined.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough over blueberries.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  8. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Use frozen blueberries if fresh are not available.
  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
