- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup biscuit mix (such as Bisquick)
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- In a large bowl, mix chicken, mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, 1/2 cup milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, stir biscuit mix and 1/3 cup milk until a soft dough forms.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough over the chicken mixture.
- Drizzle melted butter over the dough.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can use leftover chicken or rotisserie chicken.
- Substitute fresh vegetables for frozen if you prefer.
- For a thicker filling, add 1 tablespoon flour to the soup mixture.
