Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup biscuit mix (such as Bisquick)
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix chicken, mixed vegetables, cream of chicken soup, 1/2 cup milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, stir biscuit mix and 1/3 cup milk until a soft dough forms.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of dough over the chicken mixture.
  6. Drizzle melted butter over the dough.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
  8. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • You can use leftover chicken or rotisserie chicken.
  • Substitute fresh vegetables for frozen if you prefer.
