Description

Juicy chicken thighs glazed with sweet apple cider. A simple skillet dinner ready in 40 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 bone-in chicken thighs
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary

Instructions

  1. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Brown chicken thighs on both sides, about 5 minutes per side.
  4. Pour apple cider into the skillet and stir in Dijon mustard.
  5. Add rosemary sprig. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and glaze thickens.
  6. Remove rosemary and serve chicken with pan sauce.

Notes

  • For best results, use bone-in, skin-on thighs.
  • You can substitute rosemary with thyme if preferred.
