This quick bread combines the flavors of pumpkin, apple, and cinnamon for a moist, spiced loaf. It is easy to make and perfect for fall.

- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup peeled and diced apple (about 1 medium apple)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
- In another bowl, mix pumpkin puree, oil, sugar, and eggs until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined.
- Fold in the diced apple.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 55 to 65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool the bread in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- You can use any type of apple, such as Granny Smith or Honeycrisp.
- Store the bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
