Description

A simple and fresh guacamole recipe that’s perfect for dipping or topping.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 medium onion, diced
  • 1/2 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
  • 2 roma tomatoes, diced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove pits, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
  2. Mash the avocados with a fork to your desired consistency.
  3. Stir in lime juice, salt, cumin, and cayenne pepper.
  4. Fold in onion, jalapeno, tomatoes, and cilantro.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use ripe avocados for the best texture.
  • Adjust jalapeno for more or less heat.
  • Serve with tortilla chips or as a topping.
