Description

A tangy and slightly spicy cranberry salsa made with fresh cranberries, jalapeno, and cilantro. Perfect for holiday gatherings or as a fresh topping.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1/2 cup chopped red onion
  • 1 jalapeno, seeded and minced
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup sugar (or to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Rinse cranberries and pick out any stems or soft berries.
  2. Place cranberries in a food processor. Pulse until coarsely chopped.
  3. Transfer to a bowl. Add red onion, jalapeno, cilantro, lime juice, sugar, and salt. Stir well.
  4. Taste and adjust sugar or lime. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • You can make this salsa up to 2 days in advance.
  • For a milder salsa, remove all seeds from the jalapeno.
  • Serve with tortilla chips, over cream cheese, or alongside grilled meats.
