Instructions
- Melt butter in a pot over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic, cook until soft.
- Add tomatoes, broth, salt, pepper, and sugar. Simmer for 20 minutes.
- Blend the soup until smooth.
- Stir in heavy cream and heat for 5 minutes.
- Serve hot.
