Description

A delicious caramel apple pie with a flaky crust and sweet caramel filling.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 cups sliced apples
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 2 pie crusts
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Mix apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and lemon juice.
  3. Roll out one pie crust and place in pie dish.
  4. Pour apple mixture into crust.
  5. Drizzle caramel sauce over apples.
  6. Dot with butter.
  7. Cover with second pie crust. Seal edges and cut vents.
  8. Bake for 45-50 minutes.
  9. Cool before serving.

  • Use firm apples like Granny Smith.
  • Let pie rest before slicing.
  • Serve with ice cream.
