Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Whisk flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in cranberries.
- In another bowl, mix cream and egg, then add to dry ingredients.
- Knead dough lightly, shape into a circle, and cut into wedges.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden.

- Use cold butter for best texture.
- Do not overmix the dough.
- Add a sugar glaze if you prefer sweeter scones.
