Description

A simple and sweet side dish made with tender sweet potatoes coated in a buttery brown sugar glaze.


Ingredients

  • 4 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place sweet potato chunks in a large baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. Pour the mixture over the sweet potatoes and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender and glaze is caramelized.
  6. Serve warm.

  • For extra crunch, top with chopped pecans before baking.
