Description
This recipe combines sweet maple syrup with tangy mustard for a flavorful chicken glaze. You coat chicken pieces with the mixture and bake until golden.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, mix maple syrup, Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place chicken breasts in a baking dish. Pour the maple-mustard mixture over them. Turn to coat evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and the glaze is sticky. Baste with pan juices halfway through.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can use chicken thighs instead of breasts. Adjust cooking time as needed.
- For extra glaze, double the sauce and simmer on the stove for 3 minutes before brushing.
