  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onion and cook for 3-4 minutes until soft.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Pour in vegetable broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, dried thyme, and red pepper flakes.
  6. Add the butter beans to the skillet.
