Description
This pecan pie bark has a buttery brown sugar caramel, toasted pecans, and a layer of chocolate. It tastes like pecan pie in a simple bark form.

- 40 saltine crackers
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 cups pecan halves
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with foil.
- Arrange the saltine crackers in a single layer on the sheet.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the brown sugar. Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes.
- Pour the caramel evenly over the crackers.
- Sprinkle the pecan halves over the top.
- Bake for 5 minutes until bubbly.
- Remove from the oven. Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the hot bark. Let them melt for 2 minutes.
- Spread the melted chocolate evenly with a spatula.
- Let the bark cool, then refrigerate until firm for 1 hour.
- Break into pieces and serve.
Notes
- Store the bark in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.
- You can use milk chocolate instead of semisweet.
- Line the baking sheet with parchment paper for easier removal.
