Description
Pecan Pie Cheesecake Bars combine a buttery crust, creamy cheesecake, and sweet pecan topping. You get two desserts in one.
Ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Mix graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and 1/2 cup melted butter. Press into bottom of a 9×9 inch pan.
- Bake crust for 10 minutes.
- Beat cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then 1 tsp vanilla. Mix well.
- Pour cheesecake mixture over crust. Bake for 20 minutes.
- Mix brown sugar, corn syrup, 1/4 cup melted butter, 1 tsp vanilla, and pecans. Spoon over cheesecake.
- Bake for 15 more minutes.
- Cool completely at room temperature. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Cut into 12 bars.
Notes
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Use a knife dipped in hot water for clean cuts.
- You can substitute pecans with walnuts.
