- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Oil for frying
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- Mix pumpkin puree, sugar, eggs, melted butter, and milk in a bowl.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
- Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown.
- Remove donuts and drain on paper towels.
- Mix powdered sugar, milk, and cinnamon to make the glaze.
- Dip warm donuts into the glaze and let set before serving.

- Use fresh pumpkin puree for best flavor.
- Adjust cinnamon in glaze to taste.
