Description

Refreshing homemade raspberry lemonade with a perfect balance of sweet and tart flavors.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 46 lemons)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, puree raspberries with 1/2 cup water until smooth.
  2. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove seeds.
  3. In a pitcher, combine raspberry puree, lemon juice, sugar, and remaining water.
  4. Stir until sugar dissolves completely.
  5. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Serve over ice and garnish with mint if desired.

Notes

  • Adjust sugar to taste.
  • Use frozen raspberries if fresh aren’t available.
  • For a fizzy version, replace half the water with sparkling water.
