- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup mirin
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds for garnish
- 2 green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, and ginger in a bowl.
- Shape into 20 meatballs and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 minutes until cooked through.
- While meatballs bake, combine soy sauce, mirin, and sugar in a saucepan.
- Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
- Add cornstarch slurry and stir until thickened.
- Toss baked meatballs in teriyaki sauce.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
