- 4 cups shredded cabbage
- 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
- Cooked rice for serving
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart. Drain excess fat.
- Add the garlic and ginger. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the gochujang, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well.
- Add the shredded cabbage. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes until the cabbage is tender but still crisp.
- Serve the beef and cabbage mixture over cooked rice. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
- Use low-sodium soy sauce to reduce salt.
- Add a drizzle of honey if you prefer a sweeter sauce.
- For extra heat, add red pepper flakes.
