Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed

  • 6 cups peeled and sliced apples (about 6 medium)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. Mix flour, granulated sugar, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Press mixture into a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  5. Bake crust for 15 minutes.
  6. Toss sliced apples with brown sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cornstarch.
  7. Spread apple mixture over crust.
  8. Drizzle caramel sauce over apples.
  9. Sprinkle flaky sea salt on top.
  10. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until apples are tender.
  11. Cool completely before cutting into bars.
